Join us for a fabulous Nuevo Latino dinner with The Food Networks hottest new star - Daisy Martinez - to celebrate the publication of  newest cookbook DAISY: MORNING NOON AND NIGHT.

Chef James Schenk of  Destino Restaurant  will be adapting Daisy's recipes to create an unforgettable evening of food and conversation,combining timeless Latin American dishes with vibrant recipes from Spain, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, Peru, and Argentina 

Brilliant color, bold flavors, and an innovative mix of the tradional and modern are the hallmarks of Daisy Martinez's cooking on her Food Network show, Viva Daisy!  Daisy learned to cook alongside her mother and grandmother in Puerto Rico and has expanded her cooking skills and experiences with travels around the Spanish-speaking world to create a classic cookbook with the best of Latin cuisine.  Daisy believes that the act of cooking and sharing food with your family is more than just a culinary experience; it's an opportunity to create memories with your loved ones.   

Daisy matriculated at the French Culinary Institute, has worked as a kitchen chef, private chef and as the owner of a catering business, "The Passionate Palate".  Daisy has starred in her PBS show, Daisy Cooks! and her cookbook DAISY COOKS! LATIN FLAVORS THAT WILL ROCK YOUR WORLD  was the winner of the Best Latino Cuisine Cookbook in the World by the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards.  She is a regular columnist for every Day with Rachael Ray and Selecciones magazines.

 

Dinner will include a signed copy of Daisy: Morning Noon & Night and 2 glasses of wine.

Celery root, jicama and red pear salad

Peruvian pork roast with onion pepper stir fry
